Sharjah’s waterfront masterplan on the Al Khan Lagoon

Maryam Island is a waterfront masterplan in central Sharjah, between the Al Khan Lagoon and the Arabian Gulf, developed by Eagle Hills Sharjah — a joint venture between Eagle Hills and Shurooq (Sharjah Investment and Development Authority). It mixes low- and mid-rise apartment buildings and townhouses around a beach, a 900-metre waterfront promenade and the Maryam Island Boulevard retail strip, with early phases such as Maryam Beach Residence already completed and newer buildings still off-plan.
