Malaysian pioneer developer behind Bangsar Shopping Centre and One Menerung, since 1964

BRDB (formerly Bandar Raya Developments Bhd, founded 1964) is one of Malaysia’s earliest real estate pioneers, long associated with the Bangsar Baru and Bukit Bandaraya precincts of Kuala Lumpur — developer of Bangsar Shopping Centre (opened 1990), One Menerung and One Eleven Menerung. Federal Avenue in Subang Jaya, comprising the Luminar Residence serviced apartments, is a newer mixed-development project by BRDB subsidiary Impiana Impresif Sdn Bhd. Senja, The Jewel Collection — a 47.52-acre gated lakeside landed estate in Seri Kembangan — is developed via another BRDB subsidiary, Earth Pavilion Sdn Bhd (917292-P). Miranda Hill, a 552-unit condominium in North Kiara, is developed via a third BRDB subsidiary, Freedom Estates Sdn Bhd (416346-K), operating from BRDB’s own Menara BRDB head office in Bukit Bandaraya.
